got a recorded call yesterday about credit card debt. pressed 0 and got a person. asked to be put on their do not call list and hung up. also reported them to national do not call registry.
I've done the same and also wrote to the Auburn, WA Chamber of Commerce - suggest you do the same because they are giving that area a BAD name for business! Local pressure might be more effective, at least in the short run.
Caller ID sates that it is a cell phone so I answered the phone and chatted with them to see what they were trying to scam....Trying to get how much debt I had and lowering my interest rates...Called the number back and the mail box is full.....I not so politely told them to never call me again...Lets see .
