I am retired, so I have ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD....I will talk to these callers, like Burke and Rachel from card services, for as long as I can without giving them any personal information....I answer their general questions, when they question how much I owe on my credit card, I go "searching" for my last bill....give them some made up amount....let them go on and on about lower interest rates...then tell them I pay my bill off at the end of each month so I pay no interest....they get very upset because I "wasted their time" I tell them you have two choices, take me off your list, or the next caller can listen to me for another 10 - 12 minutes...It works for awhile....then they may call back after a month or so...my goal is to break my 14 minute 32 second record....
Calls several times a day as early as just before 8:00 AM up until around 9:00 PM. Very annoying. Listed as "Burke" on caller ID. I've never answered, so not sure what they want. Unfortunately, I am unable to use call block with my landline provider since this service is only available for new customers. Others who are being pestered may be able to block calls from this pest by dialing #60 and following prompts. This works with most phone providers. Good Luck!
