Got call from this number. It was a recording stating someone matching my phone number had written a bad check and they were about to turn it over for legal collections. I DON'T write checks..........
Total scam. Someone just trying to scare you into paying them something. Debt is a civil matter, you cannot be arrested for being in ordinary civil debt. Only a court can order a garnishment and that is only after a proceeding where everybody get to state his or her side of the issue.
