Got call from this number. It was a recording stating someone matching my phone number had written a bad check and they were about to turn it over for legal collections. I DON'T write checks..........
I called this number back, he was looking for a Mr Mulligan (never heard of that name before), then he said well your name is Connie. I said, no, my name is not Connie -- he said well you are lying because that is what pops up...and then he hung up the phone. EXTREMELY VERBALLY ABUSIVE ON THE PHONE...
Received a robo call stating that someone at this address has written a bad check and they are taking legal action.
Ummmmmmmmmmmmm, this is a business. No issues with our payments and do not do any business with companies in Texas..........where supposedly this call originated from by the area code.
Not even pursuing at this time and telling them to quit calling, etc. This just reallllllly totally gets on my nerves. UGH!!!
claimed to be law enforcement then calls again talking about fraud then keeps calling harrasing me and I keep telling them you have a wrong number and I do not have a checking acct. but they continously keep calling. Need to be found out who these people are and take legal action.
They ID themselves as Wahlberg and Associates. No such company that I can find. They call from a lot of different numbers using slight variations on Wahlberg. Total debt scammers.
I got the same phone call. They've been calling for years now. They left a message so I decided to listen to it. It said they got a complaint about someone writing bad checks in my name. I don't even have a bank account. Thanks to you guys I got the answer I was looking for. (281)374-4489 is surely a scam.
