Recorded message saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. I knew it was a scam so I didn't bother writing down the return #. Guess this # is going to go on my blocked call list.
281-702-8593, caller ID was "Cell Phone, Texas" called 2x on 12/23/15. Do not answer this call. It's a scam; IRS does not call people. Have received these calls from time to time over the past two years with various telephone numbers. Once again, I have reported this to IRS; FTC; and RI State Attorney General's office.
receive multiple voice mail before personal talk, they were so convincing, i gave them my social security number and was off to the bank, wondering why the irs was so demanding, even though i owed nothing, then it dawned on me, do not pay anything, what am i to do now that they have my ss number.
