Call blocker might be of some help. Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd. Or where there is no caller ID. There’s no way to stop the calls from being initiated. Calls originate in India and Pakistan and they spoof local call numbers.
Received a second call from this number--same message as the first about 4 weeks ago. IRS is filing a suit against me and I should call this number. I reported the first call to the state attorney general's office in Mississippi. They said that it's a scam.
