They've called my mobile twice in the last two days. I was suspicious of their claim they are with the CDC. They wanted me to take a survey lasting 25-30 minutes.
I have received also calls from this number at least 10 ti,me within the last 2 weeks. I have never answered when they call and they have never left me a message. Is there anywhere some or anyone can report it?
This same thing is happening on my work blackberry. Calling at night - they left the same CDC survey message the first time they called but have not left a message since.
They have called me 4 times in the last week. I said "I told you to stop calling me" She said "You have never talked to me before" I said "Maybe, but I have told this number to stop!" Caller ID says "CDC study" and they clam to be CDC. I call BS!
This guy who identified himself as being from the CDC doing a survey on smoking and health began by asking about my cell phone, if I had a land line, if I was talking on the cell while driving, etc. I told him his questions have nothing to do with the CDC and not to call me again.
On further checking this number, it is from Maryland and it was "flagged" as a telemarketer.
