I got a call a message from this number. My voicemail picked up and background music played along with a message saying.."please hold-someone will be with you momentarily"...then it sounded like someone answered the call and said "Hello?"..and hung up.
I have received 3 phone calls on my cell phone from this number in the past 3 days. The first time they called it was a computer generated call that asked me to "Hold On"; I had no idea who was calling and did not recognize the area code, so I hung up immediately. I thought it might be someone calling from the Virgin Islands or something like that where they charge you $20.00 or more a minute and keep you on the phone. The last two calls I have ignored and not answered. I am going to report them to my carrier and see what they have to say about it. I am also on the "Do Not Call List" for both my home and cell phone. I looked this number up on the Reverse Call and it is a Landline in Frederick, Maryland with the carrier being Core Communications, Inc.
THIS PESK KEEPS CALLING TWICE A DAY. I "SAVED" AND TITLED IT DON'T ANSWER. I received an e-mail from a family member telling me that there is one cell call that reroutes all over the world. If you answer, you are charged in the thousands. Haven't confirmed but not about to take a chance. BTW: 301 is the area code from Maryland.
