Caller from the "Processing Division". Part of the recorded message is done by computer. 1st clue is the use of my maiden name. I didn't get married yesterday, so this makes no sense. No company name saying they are actively pursuing me. No mention of a debt or why just that there are 2 cases against me. Total BS. Gave me a case number, but these have to stop. Caller ID shows HOCKESSIN DE. I don't owe a debt. I have been subjected to so many identify theft possibilities from the OMB to CareFirst. I have Identity Alert and this crap with these calls is such a pain in the rear.
Leaves threatening message by stating, they will pursue at "place of employment and/or residence" followed by a "case number". Leaves phone number and ends with "you have been officially been notified."
I received several of these calls. I ignored them as I have had similar calls from other companies, all scams. Well I was getting tired of getting these calls at work. So i called the number back was they don't answer with a greeting of who they are or what company. When I asked I got some letters which doesn' t mean anything. I told her I want to know who has been harrassing me and that I want remvoed from all forms of contact, she says "hold" and proceeds to place me on hold for a long time. I hung up. Not worth my time but I am getting annoyed by all the calls to my place of employement. I have reported this number. They are a SCAM do not fall for it. I know for a fact I have no outstanding claims against me and they are stupid to think I would fall for this. They are not professional in their approaches. If someone truly has a claim against they have to by law send you a letter though the US Mail. Not email or calling you. Again they are a SCAM.
I had reported this number to the PA Attorney General. The PA AG called me back today and confirmed that this is in fact a Scam. So Beware that when they call, do NOT give out any information and tell them you will report them to your states AG. Also add their phone number to the National Do Not Call Registry. That is what the AG instructed me to do.
