I received a call yesterday asking for my son in law. Stating theirs a civil matter they're trying to resolve. One, this is not even his number. Two, if it was an actual civil lawsuit I'm sure he would receive a certified letter. Scam?
Do not answer unknown calls and do not call them back. Consider getting a call blocking device (or app for your cell phone)-they're available online and start around $45. http://800notes.com/nb/search?q=call+blockers
It is a scam. They been calling with saying they have a summons for me and need to deliver it to me. if it was that important i would have been served the summons a long time ago. The scariest part is that they have a lot of my personal information not sure how that got it. They also called my husband looking for me telling him is was very very important.
Called me and told me to call another number. I did and they wanted to verify I was who I am. When I didn't they gave me the last 4 of my ss#. I asked for hers and her address she said 5568 and she didn't have an permanent address. I would never verify mine so she said she couldn't transfer me.
Keeps calling my mother who can barely make it to the phone and asking for me. I googled the phone number because i owe no one! See all these complaints. Please get them to stop calling. SCAMMERS
