I got a call from 304-309-0913. I have caller ID and an answering machine. I will not answer if I don't know who it is. Subject didn't leave a message. I am also on the Nation Registry "DO NOT CALL LIST". Some good that does. These people don't care about the law.
I just reported this outfit to the FTC. They called me at 3:13 p.m. I called them back and told them that they were idiots because my number is on the Do Not Call List. I also reported them to the FTC. it is curious that these folks come from Hinton, WV. My husband comes from Union, WV. It could be that I am being harassed because I married a WV man, or I may be confused with someone else from WV. I do not know what the case may be. I do not know everyone in my husband's family nor the folks he grew up with in WV. However, I have been subjected to continuous telephone harassment now for almost the entire time I have been married, or, more specifically after I moved to Prince William County, VA. I was not harassed nearly as badly when I lived in other parts of Virginia. I am more inclined to believe that this harassment traces to another WV family with the same surname or to a woman who married into that family, someone who is quite common with whom I have an identity theft problems which I have tried my best to report to every state and federal agency with which I come into contact. The other woman involved simply is nuts in my not very humble opinion. She was married to a man with the same surname, but why she is harassing me, should it be her, is anyone's guess. Should the caller be connected to her, she is also harassing a lot of other people for completely unknown reasons. In addition, I honestly believe that she is mixed up with the Travelers, i.e. Irish or Scottish Travelers, or something very much akin to it. Travelers are usually found in the Ozarks, Georgia, South Carolinas, as well as in Texas, not in WV-- but who knows to where they may have relocated, these days!
We didn't answer when this number called. It says unknown name. I always check on this site to see if anyone has any information. Our city is being plagued by home security system scammers. Had one on my porch Tuesday. She's working with a guy who actually pulled a gun on someone. The guy's been arrested;she was released. Now they're calling on the phone. Great. Thanks for the heads up.
