I know someone who works at this company personally, and to say at the least they are the most helpful people it's the person on the other line that's (quote) scumbags (end quote). They are only abiding by the rules given to them. They cannot help if someone is repeatedly giving out your phone number as their own..it's a sad world we live in isn't it?
This is a Billing/Collection Agency. Formerly was HealthCare Financial located in Charleston, WV. They try to collect bills owed to Hospitals, Doctors, Clinics, etc...They are annoying and rude as h#!!. If you ask them for proof of the bill, they will not send you anything, they tell you to call the Hospital or Dr. to get it.
Same thing happend to me. same number. I'm starting to wonder if they get paid just by how many people they contact because like everyone else has said... even if you wait on hold no one ever answers..... or gets back to you
I Got an AT&T Go phone about 2 months ago and have been fielding calls for the previous owner of my number. These people called today and I hung up when the recording started. I looked up the number and it belonged to Vanguard like you guys are saying so I figured was collections calling for this other lady. Called them back and got a very pleasant woman on the phone who read me the name of the person they were trying to reach. It was definitely the same person who I constantly get calks for. She apologized and promised to.mark the number as invalid and I should not get further calls after about 24 hours.
Repeatedly call with computer message to hang on the line. You wait for 5 minutes to see what it is about and then it says all operators are busy and hangs up on you. (Very nice when it is on your cell during daytime).
When you actually get a hold of a real person, they REFUSE to listen to you that they have wrong number and that you have only had the cell phone less than a month. Calls are now showing up as "(no number)" with same computer recording.
Scumbags. That's all they are. The phone call started off well, I told them my girlfriend (whom they were trying to reach) wouldn't be home from work until later, they were extremely persistent on finding out where she worked, the first time they asked, I turned around and asked "WHO IS THIS?" "What is Vanguard and what do they do?" before giving out her place of work... the snotty little tramp had the nerve to tell ME I was getting too personal with the questions. *click*
