It is the "Pay day Loan Scam" that has been around for several years. Just hang up, they can't do anything unless you give them information on the phone. Why bother and waste your time getting upset? I've been getting calls since last December, have told them I know they are a scam but they still keep calling me. I just delete the messages and never answer unknown calls. The calls stopped in May and then this week have started up again.
Well hearing all of this makes me feel a little better I just spent four hours I talked to a lawyer because I did not catch on so fast I had a gut feeling but, lately my gut feelings have just, anyway she told me it sounds like a scam. I am humiliated and he scared the out of me. I am glad to read all of these comments about this number 3052606689, i am still frazzled I just didn't understand what was happening I did nothing he said I did. Jerk.
Update, they are now calling from a number that shows up on ur caller ID as 0000 and there's now a lot of background noise and the guy states his name is "Ryan" and that the call is being recorded, I just start cursing them out off the bat now, this is just plain BS!
I recently received a call from this number claiming I am being sued by Verizon. I asked for the person's name and company and he told me PCS and name given was Steve Thompson. He sound like a foreigner. When I asked why was I being sued and was it from Verizon Internet or Phone, he couldn't tell me. He finally put someone on the phone and said it was his supervisor. I knew it was fishy; because, they kept blocking a portion of their number originally. So I called Verizon and questioned it and Verizon agent pulled up my record. They told me to disregard that call. I was not being sued by them and that it is probably a scam. Beware public these people track your information some how and use false pretense to say you are being sued and then try to work a deal with you to SCAM you out of money. Somehow they got a hold of my address. They kept trying to get my social security number. I refused and hung up my phone.
Ive had it with this Justin Conner guy (with a french/Indian accent) calling me on my cell phone and my work phone from 91970 leaving me long messages that Im being sued and blah blah blah! I will be calling back tonight to give these scammers a piece of my mind! THE NAME OF THE GAME IS VALIDATION.. If they cant Validate the debt they have NOTHING!
