They called and said they were my grandchild who was in jail and needed money to get out. He supposedly traveled to Florida for a funeral and got arrested for a DUI. He said a lawyer would call back with details. A "lawyer" called back a couple minutes later with additional details about the arrest and said he called grandpa because he didn't want to call his mom and dad. We said we needed to call his mom first to make sure. He was home in bed, and calls back to the number went direct to voicemail.
I received a phone call from this number. Called it back and it said United Legal Center. I then had to go though a short phone tree and selected option 2. Then they said it was not a working number try your call later. Called back then used 0 as the option vs using 2 in the phone tree. Then I spoke with a live agent. This is for a Pay Day Loan that is not owed. They are scam artist's please do not give out any banking information to them. Contact your state's Attorney General Office if they contact you again
I got 2 calls from this number, the first time was in the early aftrrnoon while at work. The person on the other end said "do you have financial trouble?" I said NO! And I hung up. A few days later they called again while I was at work and I didn't answer. I called back to tell them PUT ME ON YOUR DO NOT CALL LIST. Background electronic dance music and no person or prompt.
got a call from this number yesterday and my friend did about 4 hours later... we tried calling back and it said the number could not be reached. it called once again today while i was at work.
