They called and said they were my grandchild who was in jail and needed money to get out. He supposedly traveled to Florida for a funeral and got arrested for a DUI. He said a lawyer would call back with details. A "lawyer" called back a couple minutes later with additional details about the arrest and said he called grandpa because he didn't want to call his mom and dad. We said we needed to call his mom first to make sure. He was home in bed, and calls back to the number went direct to voicemail.
Received call to cell phone. When I called back, received a messaging saying, "not a working number". The telemarketing companies seem to be getting more sly concerning their out-bound calls. I would assume, due to the number not working, this number cannot be blocked. Back to the drawing board on how to block unwanted calls.
