These people called my daughter's home, my ex wife, and who knows who else. They threatened to file suit if I did not return their call within an hour. When asked how they got these phone numbers the said they they were listed as contacts. I told them they were never listed as contacts. They alleged that I owed Verizon money for service 12 years ago and they had punched the debt.
A woman called. She sounded confused. She sounded like Rosie Perez and asked if we could take possession of legal documents. I'm actually kind of in that field, so it wasn't a totally unheard of call. I told her that we did not serve subpoenas, but I could give her the number of a company that served subpoenas and did this type of thing. She hung up.
