Yes they just started calling harrasing me said I didn't pay back some online loans & They are taking me to court. Tried to get me to send them money & a photo id over the fax...now I'm not that dumb...said name was Rob Jones with Knight Law Firm. I know that if u allow someone to debit your card u don't need to send a statement & photo Id...please catch these people this worries me. They also called my best friend..how did they get my number & her number too???
The weird thing is that I just got a call from a Kalvin Jones saying he is calling from Mike Lowe law firm.No mention of a Knight Law Firm. I know I had taken out a few payday loans but both have been paid off (last year) and they keep calling me from different numbers. The newest message they left was that if I don't return his call by Monday, I will be served papers to go to court. I've dealt with collection agencies and lawyers offices in the past and they are way more professional then this. I've already sued one "lawyers office" fo fraud so it looks like I'm going on #2...
DO NOT LISTEN TO ANY OF THESE PEOPLE THAT CALL YOU AND TELL YOU YOU ARE A CRIMINAL AND YOU OWE MONEY! IT IS A HUGE SCAM! Total identity theft! Anyone with a brain should know that you cannot be taken to jail because you owe a debt and they also need to identify themselves. I apologize if that offends anyone, but seriously people quit buying into this [***] and giving these people money. The debt they refer to is not even real. They hacked into something on the Internet and have stolen your personal information. Interesting that when you ask them to give you a company name and phone number they hang up and then repeatedly call you back with threats. I received at least 30 phone calls from someone named Dominic, a foreigner freak, who never gave anyone that talked to him information. This Dominic offered my personal information at a price to one of my co-workers who answered the phone. I am filing a police report this morning. It was unbelieveable and someone needs to stop these criminals.
