My boyfriend called Time Warner and they said the account was not in collections. This caller claimed that it was and that they were a collection agency. They were very shady.
I am not sure if they are TWC, as I have read here, I answered the call and the person refused to tell me what company but said he was going to transfer me to someone... He kept RUDELY asking my address and I told him I was not giving out my address until he told me what company he was calling in regards to... HE REFUSED... I said well, I am not sure WHO you are and I dont give out my home address to strangers... He said well call this number 866-483-8593 they will tell you, I dont know what you did!!! EXCUSE ME!!! Poor customer service but they do have a great frequent dialer software...
got (6) calls in one day. Came up as IC System. Not sure who they are. I called Time Warner because I had cancelled my service. I asked how long someone had to be late to turn them over to collections. She said 30 days. Guess what hasn't even been (3) weeks and I'm getting (6) calls in one day. I reported Time Warner to The PUCO . What a terrible customer service. If i owed them when I cancelled why didn't they tell me I had a balance and even call me. Instead they have a collection agency call. I think they do this because they don't like being dropped.
My wife was getting calls from this number. BUT we are not even TW customers. We left them 3 years ago
I called them and they have the wrong address for my phone and therefore the wrong person. They said they would remove the number from the record. 5 minutes later another call.
They asked for our address and the last 4 of my social and my wife refused. She was upset and told them to stop harassing us.
We have told them this is harassment and we are not TW customers AND they have the wrong address. What else can we do?
We still have one little piece of equipment of theirs, the modem. We returned everything else. Unfortunately, we still owe them for the rotten service. I know it is their jobs but they don't have to be rude!!!! Didn't anser the call bcuz didn't know who it was. One of the lucky ones bcuz only called once a day since Wednesday. Guess I better return this b4 someone comes 2 the house.
