My boyfriend called Time Warner and they said the account was not in collections. This caller claimed that it was and that they were a collection agency. They were very shady.
I keep getting calls but no one speaks so I hang up. I did have TWC for years and when I moved over a month ago I dropped the service. I did not owe anything and returned their equipment but I can certainly believe that TWC just sent a list of all cancelled customers to their collection agency and didn't bother to identify or remove those that were not delinquent.
Called my phone said it was a business matter between them and supposedly me. The person was rude , clearly a collection agency.. Current on all bills so they can go bother someone else
Answered this call which was a mistake. I was harassed by a man who was asking for address, phone numbers, etc. from me but would not tell me who he was calling with. I obviously did not give him any information. I kept asking what this was for and he told me to check my mail and hung up on me... I am not receiving anything abnormal in the mail... Promptly blocked this number.
