My boyfriend called Time Warner and they said the account was not in collections. This caller claimed that it was and that they were a collection agency. They were very shady.
I returned all equipment directly to their Harbor Street office in Anaheim on July 24, 2015 and got a receipt. The entire month of July 2015 was pre paid in full. Time Warner owes ME money for early termination and pro rated days. TW Cable, you're not dealing with a child, I'm a grown woman who knows the law. Keep harassing me for bogus charges and I'll sue you for harassment and report you for fraud.
I got a call from this number, they didn't leave a voicemail. Came across this site as I was curious who was calling me from several states away. It looks as if everyone is saying Time Warner. We left Time Warner three months ago and returned the equipment to our local store. I will never, ever go back to them. Every night around 8pm our service would go down. Even when our bill was paid in fill (always!). I'd call the next morning and complain and complain and the internet would work PERFECT up until 8pm...surprise, surprise. I'm anti- TWC. Don't even care if I go netless forever.
My husband got a call from this number on his cell phone. They asked for a name which turned out to be our neighbor in the apartment downstairs. They were nice enough and said they'd put the number down as a wrong number, but how on earth were they able to get hubby's cell phone number to look for our neighbors? I can only assume time warner gave it out, which is pretty intrusive.
