Received a similar message today from a man named Marcus from MS Affirmative Action stating he needed to make me aware of 3 new federal mandates, ensure that we added these mandates to our non-discrimination statement, and go over our Affirmative Action minority outreach plan requirements. Call back number is310-363-7736. Also mentioned a reference number. Thankfully avioded based on the feedback above.
Call came from 310-363-7741. I called them back and received a recording from a John (last name garbled) with a request to state a time for a conference call. Clearly, this is a telemarketing company. Be aware that if your organization has affirmative action obligations, the call would more than likely come from the OFCCP-- a federal agency-- the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs.
Got a call today- similar story. I was suspicious when the caller lost patience with my questions and presented a really bad image. Glad to read all the comments and will shut him down the next time. Doing my job...just sayin'

Up front, the "scam" is in the message being left - clearly the caller/company intentionally uses verbage that initially leads the receiver of the call thinking that this call is with regard to a legal matter in some way - That is the scam !!! And it sounds like if one ventures to return this call, the sales pitch begins and materials/services at a cost, are offered.
So please, defender/responders from this company, please don't try and mask your methods of "scamming" under the pretense that, behind it all, you are a legitimate and vital service company. Do not insult the general public's intelligence !!!
