Just got a call from that same number, the guy said it was a survey about mass transit in my borough of ny, told him i don't take mass transit, then ask questions about people in the home, i said too many & refused any questions, took more that 5 minutes
This clown called at 0712 PST! ALL Telemarketers/Survey Douches aren't supposed to call before 0800....so rules don't apply to this [***] Clown. He let it ring once, which is sad, because lately, with all the dumbo calls coming in and nothing stopping them (IVR numbers now making them impossible to block), I like to wait until the second ring, pick up the receiver and then hang up. At least that stops them until the numbers rotate to mine again.
As for asking about my "Jewish heritage," what's interesting here is that I have a Jewish surname, but I was born in Germany, so you can imagine my intense sensitivity about such matters. So...come on ahead, "Pew Research," if that is your name, you're already well known to the FTC!
Received a call at 6PM on my way home on my cell. Claimed to be from Delaware Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and wanted some data. There is no such department- and he used a Illinois area code. What am I stupid?
I hung up after the first 10 words, blocked the phone#, then and filed a complaint with https://www.donotcall.gov/
Called me twice this week, both in the evening, and persistent. I couldn't talk so I brushed them off the first time, they called the next evening too. Annoying.
