Definitely a bad player. This number called my cell. When called back I received a recording asking for date of birth, social security number and full name under the guise of the "opt out" program. I hadn't called the "do not call" number for over a year. Very slick recorded voice but I believe it's a more sophisticated version of Phishing.
I would have made up a social security number so that if they tried to use it they'd get busted, were it not for the possibility that I'd come up with a number that actually belongs to somebody else.
If you ever get a caller who asks for your SS# demand that they give you theirs first.
