Got a call from this number. The Caller ID Showed Detroit MI as the name. I do not answer calls from entire cities. After the answering machine kicked on, they hung up. I then searched the number. Of course it is a scam, why else would these people be afraid to have their name come up on Caller ID?
They called me and basically just didn't say nothing to me for 36 seconds then hung up... I tried calling back and I think they blocked me ...i used 3 phones and now I'm blocked I hope for good from them
Said they were from DTE and I would be getting a 50% rebate on my DTE bill for a year. Then the voice got hard to hear and I hung up. She called me back and asked why I hung up. I said because they were scammers and don't call me any more.
They are another gas company trying to get you to change to their service. They will tell you that they will save you 30% on your current bill. DON'T FALL FOR THIS or any other gas company that wants you to switch. When you switch you will get your discount BUT you still have to pay for the transportation of that gas going through DTE lines. Don't fall for the BS. You will pay more, trust me, been there, done that.
