What a bunch of fink-o-sauruses! If they WERE legit, they'd call during regular business hours! BLOCKED these idiots. They had the gall to call on 5/22/17 @ 8:19 PM CT! Seriously??? Jerk$
DTE is our Gas provider in the Rural parts of Michigan and Consumers Power is our Electric.........backwards from the norm in the bigger cities. There are SOME companies that do offer a lower rate, but they send out letters. One such outfit is Direct Energy which is out of Ohio and did give me a better rate. But DTE will NEVER USE A NUMBER LIKE THE ONE ON MY CALLER ID. Today, they called at 9:01 and again at 9:22. Call Blocker took care of both. This number has been calling me for a year now. They seem to go in spurts. Heavy in August and September........then again in the winter months. You won't hear from them come spring or summer. Whole thing is disgusting. I would FILE A COMPLAINT with DTE telling them someone is falsely representing them in a scam.
Very rude when I asked to be put on the no call list,, just kept on with her spiel. Have worked with energy savings companies before and 98 percent of them are a scam,,start with a lower rate the first month and then hit you really hard the second month almost doubling your bill with rate hikes and fees. Sounds like the same low life female from India as the other reports.
