It's fake as [***], they have foreign [***] accents and when you start [***] with them over the phone, they start to get pissed off, it's pretty [***] funny. Lmao.
Just got a call from them didn't answer though because I never answer calls from numbers I don't know if they call back I'll be sure to answer and cuss them out because I don't bank with chase and I sure as hell don't have any debt.
Hey Gunnar - the number IS legit. I got a call from them just now for an old business checking account that is now closed, but for which there was an outstanding series of checks.
This is not true. Companies will often call from standard toll landlines if the call is for collection purposes and the account is being handled by a specific analyst. Same here, Jana. Charges on a closed business account I had with them. It's always good to be overly-cautious with the amount of phone scamming going on out there, but sometimes the call is legit, and in this case it is!
