Your repeated lame attempts at trying to convince us that this is Chase along with your abusive and vulgar posts have convinced me that you work for these scamming criminals and are lying big time about this being Chase Bank.
If this was a collection agency then it is not Chase bank. They are required by law to send through the mail (delivered by the mailman), not e mail, which can be easily spoofed. I always get a huge laugh when someone comes on here and starts talking about how great a debt collector is. You see, the first mistake you make is looking the number up. People look up things when they don't know the answer, not when they do. In this case you know who called you, so why would you look up this number?
You must be especially knowledgeable about them since they sent you a letter explaining this so called debt you owed right? They did send it? It is required by law you know. So i guess the big question is why are you here trying so very hard to convince us that these are real debt collectors and not criminals, and why did you look up this number if you already know who it belonged to?

So I got a call from this number this morning so i looked up the number & after i read these posts I decided "[***] it, ill call the number back." At first it was an automated teller just like LS said. Once it connected me to a person she stated her ID number & said she was with chase bank, what was the reason for calling? I told her I was just calling them back, she then asked for my social so she could look up the account. That's when I told her that I wasn't comfortable giving out my full social. She said it was no problem she could look it up by the name so I gave her my name & she couldn't find anything. That's when I told her I've never had an account with chase & she was definitely confused. She tried a couple different ways & when she still couldn't find anything she came to the conclusion that my phone number was linked to an account under someone else's name at one point or another. She then apologized & said to disregard the message that she would take my number off of the calling list. The lady on the phone was actually really nice & helpful so I definitely think this is chase.
