UPDATE: I took the call from them at 8 a.m. this morning and played into their game to get as much info as possible. They are reading from scripts, and if you ask them anything that goes off-script, they transfer you. I spoke to 3 people this morning: Louis Wilson, Heather Lawson and Ben Foster. In looking up Heather Lawson, I see complaints about this scam dating back to 2006!! Why can't we stop this?! This personal information should not be released when people apply for a payday loan.
When I asked for an address, they gave me 42 Broadway 5th Floor NY, NY 10004, and said they are the DCA Law Firm - Department of Corporate Affairs. In actuality, there IS a DCA at this address, but it is the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs.
When "Ben Foster" no longer felt like making up stories to answer my questions (such as "If this was in collections, why haven't I received a written notice within 5 days of initial contact, as per the law under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)?"), he said they would go ahead and process my file and we could deal with it at the courthouse on Monday. I sweetly answered "Oh yes, let's go ahead and do that." He was a bit surprised and then asked for my attorney's info, so I said "Yes, he definitely wants to talk to you" and gave him the info. Then I told him that we were aware this is a scam, that I have already reported him to the FTC and FBI, and that all calls were being recorded. I told him to never ever call here again or he would be the one showing up at the courthouse. I hung up. No callback yet. I am sick to my stomach with what these people are doing to scared, financially-strapped people.

Just called FBB and was told to play with them.. They sre scammers and toy with them and they will leave you alone!!!!!! you just pisssed off the wrong [***]. i WILL CLAL ETHEM EVERY 30 MINUTES AND ASK TEHM FOR 5000$
I keep getting the same call. It was first a middle eastern woman saying her name was Emily. Then she kept asking me for my attorney's number. I kept asking what was she talking about. She said her supervisor would explain. So this middle eastern guy got on the phone and called me two different people's names before he got mine back. He said he was from DCA Law office representing Cash partner of America and I was being charged with 3 different felonies for not paying them back. Said I needed to inform my employer. I asked what date and how much did I supposedly loan and he said it would be brought up in court Monday at 11am. I said ok see you in court and he could kiss my ***. And if he ever call me at work again he would be brought up on harassment charges. I am going to the Federal Business Bureau to see what can be done because its not the first time they done it and it is very annoying.
I got the same call a Jason kenedy callede saying that I being sued. He said that if I didn't pay that j was gonna go to jail for fraud and for theft. I was on the phone with him for a long time trying to figure out what this was all about I asked for a case number this is what was given to me 2007.13 that does not look like. Case # to me. After bring in the phone for a while I asked him for his name again and he said Eddie jones. Wow he's that stupid that he doesn't know which name he gave me the first time. I almost gave in and was about to give him. Credit card # just so he would leve me alone. I'm glad I didn't. Oh and by the way I was never served with paper work like he said I would be.

their number shows as 778 526-988 (only 9 numbers, my ID also says it's from British Columbia, CANADA)... SO i'm thinking, WOW! These losers..
he opens up the call with vulger phrases asking me if I like to do certain sexual things... lmao
so I, in return, respond with my own comments... we got back and forth... i hang up... he calls again... i say, "you really need some friends" (hang up) again... LOL
