At 6:54PM on 9/15/2011 I too got a call from 317-215-5321 with the poor quality female voice telling me my CHASE Credit card had been stolen. This is a landline based in Indianapolis, IN. I called the Osceola County, Florida Sheriff's Department and reported it.
I got a call from this number claiming to a federal credit union, which I thought was mine, but couldn't make it out clearly. It was a poor quality recorded message telling me that they were sorry to inform me that my ATM card was lost and to press 1 for their 24 hour security department. I pressed 1, then they asked me to enter my card number. I hung up.
It was totally bogus. I don't even carry that ATM card on me but keep it at home in a secure location, where I found it was safely stored when I returned home.
Just received a call from this number, while at work, an automated female voice regretfully informing me that my Wells Fargo Master Card account is frozen, and to call a number for more information. I didn't catch the number that was said, too bad I don't own a Master Card...
Told me my Wells Fargo VISA had been stolen and I could reset it by pressing one. I don't have a FF VISA, but I love to try to catch these people so I pressed 1. it asked for my card number, I tried everything to get a person on the line. No go. I called back no answer. so Now I will contact the FTC.
