Randomly started receiving one call per day, then two every morning, then call after call after call every single day. Tried to call them back, but they were too busy for my call. It appears it IS a collections agency for Dish Network, which it great for me, because I'VE NEVER HAD DISH NETWORK. Looks like someone is using my phone number for their bad credit issues - this should be fun to try to convince CBE of! [***] better stop calling my number; 5+ calls per day is harassment, especially when it's NOT FOR ME!
They just started calling me today. I have never, ever had Dish Network. 5 calls from 9AM to 6:30 PM, no message left. They need to pay my cell phone bill, and we need a class action law suit against these people!!!!!!
I just got my first call from these people today! The lady was very rude because I would not verify my address. I asked who she was before I would give out any information and she said "this is Sue, now verify this is your address" I stated that I needed to know what the company was before I would verify anything and she became very angry. We are gonna have to do something about these people.
I just called this number back, after (of course) they had called my house a zillion times. They said it was CBE Group trying to collect a debt for Verizion Wireless. I'll admit...I do owe the debt. BUT...these people wanted to set up monthy payments with me....ok, fine....they wanted to do it over the telephone and draft it directly from my bank...I said no, I want something on paper, and I will mail in a check. The girl told me to hold on for a minute to see what she could do, then some guy got on the phone and said he was the manager, and why didn't I want to set up payments over the phone? I told him that I prefer to mail in a check so I have proof of making the payment. He said "well, you will have that from your bank" No dice. I told him no, I would pay by check. He said "Well, if you don't do the payments automatically I can't guarantee it won't put a collections notice on your account" DUMBASS....IT'S BEEN IN COLLECTIONS!!! He then told me to hold on so he could get everything worked out for me, AND THEN HUNG UP!!!
Yeah...that really makes me want to pay my bill!
