Just got a call. It was quite clear this is a scam. There is not law firm called American Law and it sounded like a call center in India. I have filed this number with the FCC and block it wilth my service provider. I sugguest you do the same. They will keep calling for awhile if you do not act. You know when you owe people money. If you know you paid your payday loan and the company you got it from is not calling you then stop taking these calls. IT IS A SCAM! DO NOT SEND THEM $$
I have received several threatening messages from this number. They are threatening to freeze my assets, take me to jail. They claim to have my driver's license, sosh, and they have home address.
I have received numerous calls from this number and NOW THEY ARE CALLING MY WORK. Very thick foreign accent threatening that I must call back or I will face legal action.
I have gotten several calls from this number in one day and I spoke to them on one occassion today. They say the name of the company is something like Law & English something. The person calling has a very heavy foreign accent, the person put me on hold and another person picked up claiming to be an officer. They say I owe Cash Advance a total of 950. If someone knows how to stop this I appreciate this. They are starting to harras me on this matter.
I got several calls at work from this number about some legal matter. This is a total scam. These foreign accented people are trying to harass me into giving them more information or money. I always hang up on them since my lawyer looked into this and said it was a scam.
