Just got a call. It was quite clear this is a scam. There is not law firm called American Law and it sounded like a call center in India. I have filed this number with the FCC and block it wilth my service provider. I sugguest you do the same. They will keep calling for awhile if you do not act. You know when you owe people money. If you know you paid your payday loan and the company you got it from is not calling you then stop taking these calls. IT IS A SCAM! DO NOT SEND THEM $$
This number has called me and apaprently has called my father's house asking for my telephone number as well. My father obviously wouldnt give my number and said he could talk to him instead and the guy refused but was very persistent and called my father several times. This person is a foreigner, very heavy accent, he sounds Indian, and he left me a message saying that I must call him right back or he's filing a report against me, or that I should hire an attorney if don't return his message. What the hell is this? He said he was an officer of some sort, but his name was incoherent much like most of the message he left. Sounds like a scam, but it scared me honestly..
