Just got a call. It was quite clear this is a scam. There is not law firm called American Law and it sounded like a call center in India. I have filed this number with the FCC and block it wilth my service provider. I sugguest you do the same. They will keep calling for awhile if you do not act. You know when you owe people money. If you know you paid your payday loan and the company you got it from is not calling you then stop taking these calls. IT IS A SCAM! DO NOT SEND THEM $$
someone from this number called my moms phone 18 times in one day. they told her that she took out a payday loan witch is not even possible scince she does not have a bank account. the person on the phone told her that they were going to send the cops to arrest her. then he called back 17 more times and left two sexually explicit messages on her voicemail. i have these messages saved and an going to the district attorney tomarrow with this .
This number is a scam. If you want to file a complaint with the communications dept. of the FBI, call the FCC at 1-888-225-5322. If they have your social security number, I would suggest calling your local social security admin to get your number changed. Other numbers they call from incude; 562-314-4852.
I got a call for about 3 times this week from 320-059-331, they would call and the he tells me to hold on and they would put another person on and they both have indian accent he stay-it that hes from the law firm and that i owd cash advance,and other payday loans, and he just keeps on calling and calling and calling, so nnoring, can anybody stop those people?
I have been receiving calls from these people for months. At first the number showed up as 00-000 and now it shows up as 320-059-331. They are calling to tell me I owe back money for a pyday loan that I never took., If they are callingyou....THIS IS A SCAM. I have had my lawyer look into it and these people are trying to get you to give them money. They will not give you a correct address for their company. The law office they say they are from are in Michigan and have been contacted by my attorney who says that they are a debt collection law office but they do not have any Indian associates working them. And in my case the law office and the cash advance company they claim to be working for have never heard of my name. Just tell them you have already spoken to your lawyer and that all of your calls are being monitored by the FBI due to their harrassment. They will stop calling after that.
Mr. Smith has been calling me for about a week now. Keeps asking for my debit card. He actually had me thinking I owe them money but then when he said I need to make a "person to person" transfer to Gloria Smith, I am somewhat suspicious. I asked for documentation and they sent me something from a gmail account saying they were going to press charges from me. This whole thing is very frightening to me. Seems like a legit organization would use real e-mails and not gmails and certainly would not ask me to do a person to person transfer, at least it seems like it.
