I am having the same problem as everyone else. I pushed #1 and asked to be removed and they guy tried to sell to me. He wouldn't tell me who owns the company although he did tell me the name of the company. This is a daily phone call that I don't want and I hope some organization somewhere can shut them off
The same response as others. I to will be calling the FTC and the AG's Office in Texas. I called AT&T and they can't do anything. Can't trace calls, can't take any action. This is like getting SPAM, but there must be a way to get rid of them.
These crooks have called my home 15 times and will not take me off their call list. They have hung up on me when I try to find out who they are. I have just made an appointment for an energy servay tommorrow. I can't wait for them to show up. I will post here tommorrow after 3pm to let you know how it went.
My complaint is identical to the previous posts. The caller ID changes daily and they refuse to remove my phone number as well as their 'office' hung up on me when I refused to state whether my home had ever been evaluated for energy savings.
The number used here is 713 345-0983. It's a local Houston area code so I pick it up, unlike most of the long distance trash that comes with UNKNOWN NAME. I've received these calls in the Houston area. They go on about giving a free service to help me get the $3700 available if I qualify. Then they ask my address and say that no one is in this area and hang up. I keep getting the calls though, so I told them their info was wrong, my address ir REALLY blah blah blah and they set up an appointment for tomorrow. They said that they like all of the adults to be available and I said one of the three adults was working tomorrow. So... they settled on the home owners being available. So I guess they ARE selling something, but they won't admit that until later. No doubt I'll get a call tomorrow.
