I am having the same problem as everyone else. I pushed #1 and asked to be removed and they guy tried to sell to me. He wouldn't tell me who owns the company although he did tell me the name of the company. This is a daily phone call that I don't want and I hope some organization somewhere can shut them off
I posted previously...I finally spoke to a second person that started setting an appointment up for me. When the 'validating' person came on the line to verify my appointment, I told them to go ahead and come on Sat at 2pm....and I'd have a police officer arrive to investigate...they haven't called since! :)
Well, they called me Saturday because they weren't able to make the appointment that THEY said they wanted. I told them 3 adults lived here and they said they liked having all adults available. Since they were changing the appointment (which was to a different address since they've seen that mine is a rental I guess, and when they give me the address they say that there's no one in the area, despite being a short distance from that address that I later gave them) So they called me today and said their guy is on my porch, would I please answer the door? Well, of course I'm not there but the phone number that came up was answered by the same guy. It's out of Georgia I believe and maybe all of us with free long distance can bother this guy until he changes the number (it's probably a throw away number anyway but...) or we can sick someone on him, I don't know but pressing "2" doesnt work and begging to get off of the list doesn't work. I've got two phone lines, one I forward to my cell during the day and I get tons of these. Wish I was able to "lure" them to my home though... I'm not evil, but I could pretend REALLY WELL!
