I answered this one. A robot tells you its the last day to lower your credit card interest rate. I then pressed one to speak to a representative. He didn't know my name. He said he represented capitol one, chase, and some other companies. I asked him to take me off his call list. He tried to explain that he worked for my credit card company. I asked him what account number he had on file that qualified for a lower rate. He said my visa. I don't have a Visa. I requested a second time to be put on a do not call list. He called me a stupid guy and hung up. I'm guessing its a phishing scam to get social security numbers and mothers maiden names so they can open up cards under your name. Do not give them anything.
Just called and I listened to the message. Wants to reduce credit card debt/reduce rates. Opt out option is #2. Funny I did not start getting theses calls until I started my new mortgage loan....
Got a phone call from this number. The person on the other end said I could get a lower interest rate on my credit card. When I said no thank you, he said "what do you mean no thank you?! Do you know what I am asking?!" Again I said no thank you and he got very loud. I repeated no thank you 5-6 times as he was yelling at me. He finally hung up. I called the number it said it was a job working number.
Important message about your Credit card. Nothing is wrong but we want to speak with you. Damn. I wish I hadn't picked-up. I was driving, and thought it was family.
Received phone call from 337-319-8512 (phone said call from "Louisiana") on April 27, 2016 on my cell phone. Didn't recognize number so did not answer. Attempted numerous times to call it back back but impossible to go through. They did not leave message.
