I too received the same phone call this morning, the man on the phone had a middle eastern accent and insisted that i owe his company $250.00 and if i did not pay i was going to be subpenaed to court so he could sue me for $4000.00, i persisted to ask him his name, supervisor name, company name, address etc. when i asked all he did was inturupt me and he hung up the phone when i mentioned the police. if you have any calls like this do not give them any information that they can use against you!
This person call me and threatened me saying i was in serious trouble...said he was Mike Thompson. then he called my boss and said it was a family emergency.
You are awesome, that idiot called me excactly a week ago with a florida number...786-441-9598, he was nasty... he called again today with the number he called you under, what an [***]!!! I changed my number.
Received a call from "Austin White" from the Verification Department of PCS advising that there was a serious matter against my social security number (which he didn't pronounce right). I've been getting these calls for many years, slightly different script, but always the same scam. Oh well, I had a few months of peace...
They called my work 20x repeatedly today saying that it was an emergency and not to play games with them.They spoke to one of my coworkers and said that my brother was dying and his name was Joseph,.Which i dont have a brother name Joseph!!!!! How do i make this stop!!! Im going to get fired because of this!!!!!!!!Help!!!!!
I CONTINUOUSLY RECEIVE CALLS FROM ACLS LEGAL DEPT TELLING ME THAT I OWE AND THAT IF I DON'T RETURN THEIR CALL THAT THEY WILL HAVE A WARRANT OUT FOR ME AND I AM GOING TO BE ARRESTED. I HAVE HAD PAYDAY LOANS IN THE PAST AND HAVE GOTTEN SCAMMED TWICE BUT NOT ANY MORE!!! i CALL MY LOCAL FINANCIAL REGULATION DIVISION AND THEY TOLD ME TO GOOGLE THESE IDIOTS NUMBER AND I DID AND IT THE READINGS WERE VERY INTERESTING THEY ARE SCAMMERS SO I CALLED AND REPORTED IT TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION. PEOPLE PLEASE BEWARE THAT THESE ARE SCAMMERS - THEY CALL WITH A NUMBER THAT SHOWS UP ON MY CALLER ID AS 20 - WTH!!! PLEASE BE AWARE THEY GOT ME TWICE BUT NOT ANY MORE!!!
