I got one of these calls yesterday (voice mail). I noticed that the call originated from a California area code, but the call back number is a cell phone with a New York area code.
4/7/2012 Got a call from this dude on 4/5/12. What a bozo. He was about check fraud and he used a name I haven't had for over 30 years! Time to warn people about him. He also has a female in cahoots with him. She pretended to be the secretary!
I got a call from this guy saying something about check fraud. I called back and left a message but didn't leave my name just a call back number I wasn't going to give him any personal information like that. I called a second time and a very groggy lady answered[I must of woke her up] I asked for david phillips,she said just a minute and hung up the phone. On the third try I got a answering machine this was three weeks ago and I havn't heard back.It's a scam!
