they called my wife yesterday, I got the number from my wife and I called them back today. They answered saying they were from the Internal Revenue Service and it was officer Johnson.they asked me for my lawyer information number I told them that I was a lawyer and he proceeded to tell me to go f*** myself. At that point I called back aftera few minutes and told them to get a real job and stop blowing up our country. Now I'm on block and cannot call them back. Lol what a joke
I received a call from 347-474-0087 claiming to be from IRS Dept of Treasury and stating that they were simply providing me with "prior notice" of an arrest, and that I would be held under arrested for 6 months for taxes that were improperly filed. They spoke quickly, in a foreign accent. They rambled off Code CP503 Warrant for Arrest and asked for the information for my criminal attorney. They would not provide me with a number to call back to verify this claim, or the dates of the letters that were supposedly sent to me. I reported this to both IRS and TIGA.
I had a very similar experience, although they just claimed to be from the "Department of Legal Affairs" and advised me to call back in order to avoid a "very messy legal situation". They were very vague.
I received a phone call from 347–474–0087 late on a Friday afternoon. They left a message on my answering machine stating that I needed to call them back immediately in regards to a legal action that was being taken against my name. And if I wanted to avoid a very messy legal situation I should take this seriously and call them back immediately. The person that left a message stated his name was inspector Kevin Miller. When I called back the person That answered said his name was inspector Kevin Coleman with the US treasury. Both "Kevin's" had a bit of an accent. When I talked with the person on the phone they said that they needed my attorneys information because a warrant has been issued for my arrest. They claimed that The IRS and found errors on one of my previous years tax return. I spoke with a friend of mine who is an attorney and he said this is an absolute scam. They did say that they had already sent sheriffs out to my house and that if I did not take action they would send the sheriffs out again and have me arrested. My friend who is the attorney definitely said Don't fall for it, it is a scam!
this is s scam! they ask that you go to a grocery/box store and put $ on gift/cash cards and give them the code to redeem them. no law enforcement or government agency will threaten arrest unless you pay $. they id'd themselves as a RS Inspector Chris Harris and Matt Peterson. Told lady to FedEx cash cards to 1111 Constitutional Ave NE in Washington DC. Be smarter people!!!!!!!!!
I lierally just received the call from the Indian officer which had tried me once before. You would think they would take me off the call list. ha! In any event, I said, I knew exactly who they were and they were making a fraudulent call. Needless to say, they hung up! SCAM! I cannot imagine anyone falling for it. They have been doing this for months!
