they called my wife yesterday, I got the number from my wife and I called them back today. They answered saying they were from the Internal Revenue Service and it was officer Johnson.they asked me for my lawyer information number I told them that I was a lawyer and he proceeded to tell me to go f*** myself. At that point I called back aftera few minutes and told them to get a real job and stop blowing up our country. Now I'm on block and cannot call them back. Lol what a joke
Caller identified as Mark Hanson with the Department of Legal Affairs of the US Treasury. That I needed to call back because a situation could turn into a real legal mess for me. When I did a reverse lookup, I see this is a level3 mobile number in New York, NY, and reported on https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/. The odd part is I got a very similar call about an hour before this one, from a different mobile number but claiming to be with the IRS.
Call for my husband from Jennifer Lincoln, Department of Legal Affairs, the very second he received the message he needs to call back on a law enforcement action started against him. If unable to call back strongly recommend his attorney call back as this may end up in a legal matter.
"Officer Kevin Miller" I'm embarrassed that I swore like a sailor at him and told him he was wrong. I asked for a badge number and they hung up on me. Haha. I was angry at the time but I said over and over that this was a scam and that there was no way that the IRS would be in no way cold calling for hard cash over the telephone. The govt knows where I work because I work for the government. DUH! In computer security.
Caller with heavy accent claiming to be Kevin Miller from the US department of treasury. Was extremely rude and aggressive on phone. Claimed I filed fraudulent tax return and that many letters had been sent to my home. I told him this was untrue and he told me that because I would not let him speak I would find out in three hours when the police arrived at my door with a warrant. He was shouting at me and when I asked to speak to his supervisor he told me no, and that the police would be here shortly and hung up on me.
Received a call from Kevin Miller for my daughter who hasn't lived here in several years. He was from the Department of Legal Affairs. He left a message on my answering machine that I had to listen to many times because of his accent. I immediately looked up the number and found this thread so thank you all for posting. Sometimes the Internet is great!
