I got this call on 5-20-14 and I knew right away it was a scam so I went along with it and when the guy got to the part of asking "what do you see on your screen?" I told him it read "F*** you scammer" He then told me to try again as I was doing something wrong and when he asked what message I got I told him again "F*** you scammer" We did this 3 times before he realized what was going on and he said "I want you to try one more thing....F*** your a** " so I asked him if he wanted me to send him pics since that's what he was into.....he hung up.....I love taking these guys for a ride. I waste as much of their time as possible.
I have gotten several calls from this number. I'm sure it's a scam. The first time I told them there weren't any issues because I have all of the protection I need and there hasn't been any issues that I could document. A week or so ago the calls started again calling multiple times a day. This time I told them I didn't have a computer so their records are incorrect and the rude fool hung up on me. I haven't heard back from them.
Received multiply calls from this number before I finally picked up. He said he was from Microsoft. I said why is your number a wireless number. He said my computer was in danger with a virus. I told him I had anti-virus. I asked him what window version I was running, and he got that wrong. This is not a real company. Do not trust this number if they call.
I have received calls from this number several times every day for the past few weeks. Today I received no less than 6 calls (one every hour) so far from this same number . Caller ID shows Bronx NY. I never answer calls from numbers that I don't recognize. Glad I saw other posts confirming what I already suspected.
I get these calls often.Tonight it was from New York. Last week it was Houston and Louisiana. The man that called from Louisiana surely got an earful. He called me a little after 8:00 AM and I know that Louisiana is 1 hour behind New Jersey. I am disabled and I have a problem sleeping. I read that man the riot act! I want to know what is the purpose of having a unpublished number and being on the DO NOT CALL LIST? Neither seem to work for me!
