Several calls received within the last 15 minutes. I let the calls go to voicemail and no message is left. Can hear lots of talking in the background before they hang up.
I didnt start getting calls from these guys until i had my computer worked on at office max, they have called at 4am, the last call was today. I spoke too 2 of them and the last one i said what are you selling? windows 8.1 he replied,i commented he sounded like a used car salesman and pissed him off. i told him i would take my computer in to office max and have them do it really pissed him off, it was a scam
The same man called me 3 times yesterday and once today from this number, seems its a different number every week. I did as you suggested and reported to the FTC. I hope everyone does the same.
I got a call yesterday, and could tell it was a scam.. there was no way they would have my phone number, I just told him I would have to call him back.. and hung up-
Phone scam using 845-262-3481 leaving me a voice mail saying his name was Jacob Morris, in an Indian accent, telling me he was calling from "legal department" and that "You be named suspect in legal case filed against you..." and how I needed to call him back immediately or "a team of officer is down to me for custody..." I called them back but it just goes to voicemail. Its a scam/fraud, so please pass this on so these [***] don't take advantage of someone unsuspecting or elderly person.
