This is a scam!!! Never let anyone who has cold called you especially with an unknown/blocked number remote log into a computer that you own! He gave me the same spill about not getting updates and gave me the same number 347-535-4547. People should get real employment and stop scamming the public!

This is a scam - they called my mother in law which I had just setup a new computer for along with my managed antivirus and monitoring tools. She told my wife that "Comcast" called her and stated that she had 7440 errors on the system and was going to clean and give her antivirus due to the fact she currently did not have any. Long story short she gave CC number and agreed to 1 year of service - she doesn't know how much she paid.
I checked my logs and no software was installed on the system and my managed AV was working correctly, they did absolutely nothing on the system whatsoever. We have contacted the CC company and will be reversing the charges on the card.
I have thought about calling the company and having the remote into a clean virtual machine to see exactly what they are doing, but not sure if it is worth my time.
Recieved call from person indentifying himself as Spencer Ross, at number 347-535-4547. Said he was from Microwsoft, and there was a problem "all three of our computers"
