"Claim" to be IRS "officer" with the number 3475590378 and that my name and SS# is involved in a pending tax criminal case. Barely spoke english and only seem to have my name and phone number and nothing else. Told me to to call 877-395-4886. Don't believe these guys! SCAMMERS

Received a call (msg on answering m/c) from 347-559-0378 from a man claiming IRS that there is an outstanding tax fraud
charge against me. To avoid the case being transferred to federal and getting arrested, I should call back 202-803-4808
and report immediately. It also threatened not to disregard the message.
Hope no one falls victim to these FRAUDsters. The conceding thing is your identity is stolen by these crooks and no one is able to do anything.
I got a similar call today on my land line. Same tactic, press 1 to avoid being arrested etc. it was a recorded message and seemed like a scam. Just hung up the phone. Beware ! If in doubt, googled the number and I found this website to learn that others have been contacted as well.
