Got a call from an unknown number, threatening me in poorly worded English that the IRS was going to file suit against me and that I needed to call this number. I'm registering it so that anyone else who gets this call can look it up using the number they gave me.
Got a call from these same people mentioning that "this was the IRS with a final warning & threatening lawsuit, and to call this number! The people behind these scams must think most people are idiots!
This was the number of another IRS threat to take me to jail if I did not pay unpaid taxes. Third IRS scam this Month! wish this info would help catch these scammers.
I received the same call. I called back and asked the person for their last name and agent number. They hung up quickly. I called back and they blocked my number.
