Got a call from an unknown number, threatening me in poorly worded English that the IRS was going to file suit against me and that I needed to call this number. I'm registering it so that anyone else who gets this call can look it up using the number they gave me.
On 3/26/15 Receive many calls from 630-213-2643 about IRS lawsuit and said to return call immediately at 347-708-0070 but when I called back someone answered and said that a lawsuit has been filed and then hangs up the phone, then next time I called the phone has a busy signal.
This is not the IRS, it's an IRS Impersonation call! JUST SAY NO!!! I first thought it was truthful, but please, PLEASE hang up on these people! Not to be believed! I had to change my phone numbers!
These are the bogus names -- Debbie Garner or Gardner, Jack Gates, or Brian Thomas IRS Officer, isn't this a felony for false impersonation. Don't expect law enforcement or the IRS or other federal agency, i.e., FBI, to do anything. My local police department laughed when I told them I was going to file a police report. However, scamming is criminal! Going to get a gun tomorrow. Just show up on my property so I can blow you away!
