Got a call from an unknown number, threatening me in poorly worded English that the IRS was going to file suit against me and that I needed to call this number. I'm registering it so that anyone else who gets this call can look it up using the number they gave me.
Got this call once again. Last time was a few weeks ago. Caller ID on phone says private number, but they give the number to call back to that they say needs to be called immediately. Or a law suite will be filed by the IRS against me. HAHAHA. Having been a professional tax preparer in the past for a number of years, these are some really bone headed idiots. Don't respond to them.
A computerized voice left a message on my home machine saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and to call this number immediately. 347-708-0070. The caller ID said "Unknown Caller" The message was left on 3/24/15 at 10:33am. I live in the Tampa, FL area.
