I had the same phone call yesterday by a very rude lady. She asked for an owner or controller in an investigation. I said it was a private residence. She hung up...The number was blocked so I could not trace it. I just was kinda freaked on it. I am glad to see that this is nothing but a scam and will pass it along..
Matthew just call here asking got speak to the owner about an on going investigation, I told the owner who answered the call and Matthew told the owner that he did not liked to be lied too and wanted to speak to the owner. The owner hung up on him and Matthew called back some more no one answered his calls.
A man just called here and asked for the owner. Said he needed to talk about an investigation. Then he said he was a collection company and would be able to collect all our past due accounts, even the ones who went bankrupt. I had clients in here and he started screaming at me and said he was a client. Then he shouted "do you want to make money or not". He was so RUDE and LOUD. No one should have to put up with this abuse.
Guy calls trying to be real intimidating, but when you turn tables and try to get info on him, he's ready to hang up phone as quickly as possible. I thought they couldn't use "unknown" on caller ids anymore. Government should require people like this to either identify themselves as a "seller" or a "collector" when they call. Gets on my nerves using terms like financial investigations to try to intimidate...would only make me more wary of giving information. Also, when you try to call back says not a working number....fishy fishy.
called and asked for owner regarding criminal investigation. Told her Iwas one. She started trying to sell me a service. Told her she'd lied regarding criminal investigation. trina started yelling at me me shut up. Told her I'd turn her in to the fcc and hung up on her. She called back and started cussing me out in spanish.
hung up on her again. Am reporting this company to fcc.
Some lady with the same story, calling regarding investigation from CII Investigations, called at least 15 times in 20 minutes. Cursed out one of us in Spanish, (she knows spanish. She said her name was Jesse, then it was Terri. We do not have caller ID, but *69 came up the 360-200-4546 came up everytime. We called phone co, and police, and have a trace on the number, but it sounds like not much you can do. Is this some kind of sick game with these people?
