I had the same phone call yesterday by a very rude lady. She asked for an owner or controller in an investigation. I said it was a private residence. She hung up...The number was blocked so I could not trace it. I just was kinda freaked on it. I am glad to see that this is nothing but a scam and will pass it along..
This number has called a number of times asking for the owner or controller, When i say he is unavailable, they hang up, when i say i can help you they question me... Last time they called, about 15 minutes, I said i could help, they went through their little spill about what they can do, I got rude and said we didn't need their services, and to write it in their database somewhere that and i hung up. As soon as i put the phone down it rang again with the same number, I answered like normal and the lady was yelling calling me volger names untill i hung up!!! I need to speak with a manager or something!!!
I just got the same call and the lady got rude with me so I asked to speak to her supervisor and the guy was just as rude. I asked for his name and someone higher up and he said this is my name are you ready and slammed the phone down 3 times and called me names. WTF?? No way to do business.
yes, also received several calls. When I asked them not to contact me any more, the man screemed at me stating he asked to speak to the owner. Since I am the owner, I was highly offended. He then just hung up. I did research on the Joseph Steven & Associates and called them myself. I also am reporting them to the California Attorney Generals Office. I suggest others do this and they may get shut down. I have worked with the Missouri Attorney Generals office and have had good results with a similar collection scheme.
Someone from 360-200-4546 calls asking for controller or owner regarding a financial investigation. Same b.s. as everyone else has reported. The guy got nasty and verbally abusive with me. I am going to contact the FCC and whoever else I can think of to get these nasty people shut down. How awful that they think they can talk to people that way and think that they won't be found out. It is only a matter of time before karma catches up to them and bites them in the [***]. Wait til they are all jobless!
