I also got a call from one number and they left this same message on my phone to call. I called without even thinking and the man was pretty convincing by giving me his name, ID number etc. Once I started asking him questions and then yelling at him, he hung up on me.
I received a threatning voicemail message from this phone number. After reading the above posts, I was looking forward to messing with their heads a little and play into their scheme and act like I was scared and ready to pay whatever it took to remove me from "The List". Unfortunately nobody answered... surprise, surprise! I may try back later just for fun.
same indian scammers-i think they are trying to learn english!!! DO NOT GIVE THESE SCAMMERS ANY INFO!!!! the real IRS will mail you through the United States Postal Service, not some person that is having trouble with the english language.
Got an automated call stating this was the IRS & it was my final call. They were suing me & Blah, blah, blah. I am sure IRS would send certified letter first & no way would they use an automated system! BEWARE!
